Well for my 500th review I was hoping it would be a 5 star blockbuster but it ended up being Wrath Of The Titans which is good solid sequel that's pretty entertaining in most places but does fall flat in places also, It can be hard doing a sequel to a remake and compared to number one it's pretty even but Wrath is a high 3 and a half stars only because the last 25 was very good and the effects were better which we should expect, I can't comment on the 3D as I watched the 2D version, Not as bad as I was expecting so catch it when you can if you're a fan of Clash Of The Titans.

It feels as if the staff working on this film all unanimously agreed to divide into groups over a burrito at Taco Bell. Each group then agreed to work on a different part of the film and meet back at the same crappy Taco Bell, on the same crappy day of the week, to eat the same crappy burritos and puzzle all the scenes together and hope it turns out a masterpiece. They never watched it and decided it was great without fine-tuning and premiered it. Or... the director purposefully made worthington unlikable. I was rooting for Cronus the entire screening.

Wrath of the Titans manages an impressive feat. To make gods appear weak and unimportant. Frankly, rosamund pike excluded, the acting is more abysmal than ever. Sam Worthington fails on pretty much all conceivable levels and even the great liam neeson and ralph fiennes frankly bomb. The dialogue is not much better. Cheesy and almost campy, the dialogue fails to justify the immense pressure that (apparently) the film expects you to feel. The direction is confused and the action is just there to make the film seem better. It doesn't work. There's almost nothing to commend this film on, including the story which is utter nonsense. But it does have one positive: its special affects aren't bad. They're just not good.
