I have 58 minutes left of this movie and I don’t think I’m gonna make it through. It is so all over the place and manic but in the worst way. Every character seems to speak over the other, we are bombarded with dialogue that is supposed to be smart but simply isn’t. I love Adam driver but I can’t stand this film, it’s neither funny enough to be a comedy or well acted/ written to be a good drama. It just consists of overwritten scenes that can’t just be still or in one conversation, the lack of structure is haphazardly trying to be saved by fast pace lines. I rarely feel this strongly about a film being hard to get through but it’s a massive let down.
