High school student Ling Xiaoyu is recruited by Anna Williams of G Corporation to transfer to Kyoto University and gather information on a student named Shin Kamiya. Meanwhile, Jin Kazama, the current head of the Mishima Zaibatsu, sends Alisa Bosconovitch to the university for the same mission. Though they do not know each other's true motives, Xiaoyu and Alisa become close friends. However, their friendship is put to the test when Shin is captured by an unknown assailant.

Just like the Tekken live action movie, this actually starts off decent enough but when the focus changes to two of the most inconsequential characters of the games it started going wrong. Just like the games, the story was confused and jumbled, as if the writers themselves didn't really know what was going on. However, you come for the fighting in a Tekken movie so was the fighting at least cool? It was to some extent, as long as the characters retained their human forms the action was actually fairly kinetic and cool but it just goes overboard into an area that really doesn't make a lick of sense.
the CG is nicely done. action scenes are bad ass. but the main charactor revolves around ling xiaoyu and not all the roster from tekken appears in this movie. theres only a handful of charactors i can list right now. ling xiaoyu, nina, anna, panda, alisa, jin, kazuya, heihachi, lee, uhmm.. i think thats it.. i dont think the story follows the storyline in the games.. im a fan of tekken.. but this is kind of a disappointment.. at least this is the best tekken movie out.. they shoulda jus made this movie instead of that piece of shit live action tekken
So far the best tekken movie ever made..it's not made for Theater release but it was quite nice to have for change a nice story and a very cool animation supported by a great CGI..It doesn't get over FFVII advent children, but it's much better than Resident evil Cgi film [Biohazrd: degeneration]..all in all if you are a big fun of the series you will appreciate a bit more than a casual viewer...Only let downs is...you will only see around 10 characters of the TEKKEN game saga, you dont see marshal law, yoshimitsu, Paul and other great classic fighters. Nonetheless our hopes are ignite to see a sequel that with a story that unravels around the IRON FIST TOURNAMENT..
