Meet the Borgens. William Borgens is an acclaimed author who hasn't written a word since his ex-wife Erica left him 3 years ago for another man. In between spying on Erica and casual romps with his married neighbour Tricia, Bill is dealing with the complexities of raising his teenage children Samantha and Rusty. Cedric Livingstone (Michael Gambon): "Let me just say in great modesty that all great artists need a great director and here I am."The cast was awesome! I'm such a huge fan of Maggie Smith's work that I'd watch anything she does, even if all she does was read from a phone book. Billy Connolly was extraordinarily charming in this film and Michael Gambon was cheekily amusing. The story was cute although the pacing was a bit slow and required a lot of patience since there wasn't really a whole of action to this film to carry the plot forward, but to the talented casts' credit they were quite entertaining, especially the exchange between Reginald (Tom Courtenay), and the group of teens about the similarities between Opera and Rap music; so, it made watching this film worthwhile.

I rented this movie thinking it was going to be absolute crap, I mean it stars Joey Fatone from *NSYNC. But honestly thins movie was freaking fantastic. It had a great balance in the main actors and was basically The Hangover without as many stupid parts that aren't even funny. Some very clever plot pints for humor as well as a large amount of just straight up raunchy man humor. A great movie for guys to watch, plus it's got LFO's Summer Girls in the movie twice! Seriously if you just want to enjoy a movie and kick back without having to think at all pick up this movie and give it a shot. Very underrated.

Excellent movie. You must see this movie if you believe in the constitution, freedom and your rights as an American! To those who post ignorant anti american rhetoric and gibberish. Listen to the movie. It may talk about Christmas but it is about ALL freedoms, ALL religions, not just Christianity. Ive read some reviews posted here and it clearly shows the ignorance of some who take for granted the Constitution and those who fought for it, died for it and continue to support it. I am an American VET and damn proud of it. To those who hate and try and destroy our freedoms because of their political sattire and disbelief -- MOVE to France or wherever you think you have freedom that have been fought for and died for.
