Beyond the film's aesthetic triumphs, it also offers plenty of exhilarating excitement, thrills and suspense as Sinbad goes on his adventure to save the princess while battling all sorts of creatures, including the Cyclops, along the way. The fight scenes, combined with the stop-motion animation, are quite fun and, in B-movie style, they're even a little bit campy. Sinbad: The Fifth Voyage is the kind of film that should be seen on the big screen with a large group of friends. Fans of Ray Harryhausen should rejoice. If there were any justice, it would become a cult classic. This film is a superbly acted, exciting and violent ride! In the pursuit of justice, there will be blood. But this time, you'll be rooting for the good guy, and I, a fifty years young woman, loved every minute of it!

This movie has to biggest waste of money ever spent on a movie. Although I support the Persian guy that has created this movie this was a really bad movie with real life performances fighting clay-mation and it really looked choppy and was no good. Please do not bother with this movie. Its a form of punishment. I would give this a zero but it wont preview the review then so i give it half a star but its really a Zero.

Not particularly strong in the story or acting departments (the actress playing Parisa couldn't deliver a line to save her life and the actor playing The Deev apparently never got the memo that there's a veryyy fine line between hammy and terrible) but it's a fun brief ride with lots of nifty effects and visuals. The stop-motion effects would've made Harryhausen proud.
