See No Evil was a surprising decent horror flick yet its sequel drops considerably in quality. It starts quite promisingly following on from the finale of the original within a matter of an hour yet it soon becomes clear that little progress has been made and instead we just have the same thing within a horribly bland environment containing repetitive shots and unimaginative scenes. The characters are critically unlikable, one or two were cringeworthy with awful acting. Whilst action is brutal once more its not particularly entertaining but very predictable. Kane makes a good monster but See no Evil should have been a one hit wonder.

Let's face it the whole slasher movie has been dead for many years now and the first See No Evil movie was pretty awful and this one is worse, Same old Friday 13th rehashed plot, Full of stupid people who die in the same old boring ways, I had no problem with Glenn Jacobs as the villain but it's not enough to make this predictable, Boring film any good, But if they ever needed an actor to play Jason Vorhees then look no further than Glenn Jacobs, He's 7 feet tall, Very well built and could probably do most of his stunts as he's taken his fair share of bumps in Wwe, Anyway the film is terrible but give Glenn Jacobs something half decent he'd be worth watching.

See No Evil 2 is far from a perfect film or a classic, it is very cliche and the premise reminds me of Halloween 2 and Friday the 13th The Final Chapter. The directing though is somewhat tense, but you can tell the film is not too well constructed. The acting is very awful save for two characters who do decent jobs. The guy who played Seth did a competent job. Kane did a great job of being intimidating and displaying emotions, but his line delivery is so hammy and over the top. Kane is my favorite wrestler of all time, most notably his run in the 1990s as a enigmatic burnt man with a mask who didn't need to say one word. If WWE studios actually took their time making a Kane movie based off his 1997 self, it could be successful. Anyway, the kills are mostly just strangulations and quick stabs, nothing innovative here. The music is all over the place except for one part towards the end. Though, it does have its moments of legitimate tension and suspense to make this film worthwhile.
