This was one my first movies when I was introduced to Bollywood Films & its a real treat. Its very cartoony, with lots of silly dialogue and over the top action scenes, but thats what makes this an entertaining film. Like all Bollywood films, its a 3 hour epic with tons of twists and lots of little pauses for mini-music videos and dance routines that are quite refreshing to someone who isn't really versed in the aura of Bollywood and films from the eastern side of the globe. If you're an English or American movie goer that likes the occasional foreign film for diversity, this is a fun action-filled flick that you will enjoy if you don't take it too seriously.

Even twistier than the first! Great action and plot. How do you top killing someone for the insurance money? By stealing the Shroud of Turin! "Five years ago, in 2008, the Tauranis and Abbas-Mustan delivered a taut, enthralling thriller in RACE. The intricate plot, the serpentine twists and turns in the narrative, good looking men and women double crossing each other, the dazzling locations and the adrenaline pumping stunts and chases left an ineradicable impression on the heart and mind of the moviegoer." It doesn't have the step-brother rivalry of the first, and the music is contrived. But, I think Padukone more than makes up for Basu and the James Bond/Don/National Treasure aspects are well executed.

i am personally a big fan of race movie and now race 2 came with added attraction of john who i like personally so it was a first day movie for me.. The movie opened in a very cool style ,,,, it got a good cast and the music was very decent and even the plot was good enough but slowly towards the end of the movie the plot gradually became weak and slowly lost its spice. saif was looking cool and so is john with his hunk look,,,, the heroines were good enough but i can surely say that a watcher of race will compare it to race2 and in this context this movie will disappoint the audience cos the main jist of race lies in its plot and this movie drowns in this field.MY WORD: dont compare it with race1 and u will love this movie
