While his friends need convincing, Dusty gets the training he needs from Skipper, a veteran fighter, and qualifies for the Wings Across the World race. In the event, Dusty finds competitors who soon learn that there is something special about this underdog as he is tested to his physical and emotional limits. In doing so, Dusty soon finds enemies, and more importantly friends, who are inspired by his dream. In the face of all obstacles, the winner of this air race will be anyone's guess. Trivia The inspiration for the airport is based on Leaders Clear Lake Airport, in Clear Lake Minnesota. Bob Leaders, 80, started the airfield in 1969 and an old truck in his field also inspired the character "Chug." Really, is that all you could come up with... That's like a car that's afraid of a freeway. This is only going to be enjoyed by children under 10, if even that. Bob the builder is better, seriously. Summary: Jokes were not funny - Every line was trying too, too hard - Any effort to give the characters life fall very, very short - Action scenes were boring and predictable - It was like drinking a flat soda, no spark or fizz from start to finish. Well, I feel like I have put more effort into this review than it deserves! Which is more than I can say for the film. UGH, I want my time back please! 10 of 12 people found this review helpful.
