Aamir Khan in and as "PK" portrays one of the most likable and genuinely innocent characters I've ever seen. His performance makes the already unique movie even better. I will say that this movie starts off as a comedy with a few laughs here and there but nothing was all that compelling for me at first. However, as the movie progressed and the story unraveled, it became a great one. This is a brilliant social satire with a truly original story. I was impressed by the bold statements the movie had to say about society and was consistently entertained by a majority of it. It's a movie that'll make you laugh and will also deeply touch you with its message. It is simply another fine example of Aamir Khan delivering some of the best work from Bollywood and it shouldn't be missed.

Don't think I've ever seen a Hindu foreign film before, especially not one that's also a musical, but I gotta say that I surprisingly enjoyed it. The film seemed to be really dumb in the first couple of minutes, especially the first song that's overly cutesy to the point where I wanna puke. But afterwards, it got as smart and clever as the writers of South Park. The comedy is clever and hilarious and the film's examination of human religious beliefs is DEEP and eye opening. While the alien character's frozen expression probably will disturb a few people, this is a foreign film that I would sure as hell recommend.

This is a must watch movie. A very daring movie still in a very religiously conservative country. Shattering through the facade of conman and dogma that is passed of as religion is shattered in a very colloquial and accessible level to the masses. Comes with humor and an underlying intelligent plot, a visiting stranded Alien on his quest to get back home has to confront God and religion in it's multiple forms that comes in the diverse Indian theology and culture. On his way he learns he feels, he befriends and fall in love. Finally loosing, then changing and touching lives, and knowing when to make that sacrifice. The story is well made with suspense and genuine wit.
