Killerman (2019)

A piece of advice. People who criticized bad this movie could be only two reasons. They did not watch the end of the movie or they were simply expecting the politically correct online cop movie, full of cliches with a moral ending. Well if that is what you are looking this movie is NOT FOR YOU. If you are adult enough to enjoy a drama about loyalty and blood that gives preponderance to secondary characters and never goes were you expect then this is your movie to free download.

I cannot understand why such a great movie was released with no publicity at all. Could it be that is an independent movie that do not follow Hollywood moral codes ? Or it is because it is good and too adult compared with all the crap industry is releasing lately.

When the movie starts, we meet Moe Diamond and Skunk. Moe is a money launder for Skunk uncle; a middle crime boss. They are very good friend and while Moe looks smart and sophisticated, Skunks is just a simple guy trying to make his own business. Skunks asks Moe to help him with drug deal. Moe is reluctant but finally accept.

What they do not know is that two dirty cops are behind the deal trying to steal the money. A shooting starts; Moe and Skunk run away with the drugs, the money (belonging to Skunks uncle) but in an spectacular crash Moe loses his memory and Skunk tries to help him recover it while avoiding the very violent dirty cops and the menacing Skunks uncle.

Many people will die but the movie is never predictable there are lots of unexpected turns . In fact the loss of memory does not seems to be important until the end. A very logical but unexpected end that take out the politically correctness completely.

it is obvious the director is a loves changing the game; when something point to a cliche the situation is changed on the last second.

In brief; there are characters you care for but nobody is a saint here. Whoever if you love the old dark thrillers that Hollywood is not doing anymore. This is for you and let’s hope the movie gets a big audience because it deserves it .
