I don’t expect any Bollywood movie to be anything more than a means of business and entertainment, even biographical movies about great Indian Freedom fighters or historical figures are polished by adding fictional characters and a female character as a wife or lover and SONGS are a must. But the Indian Cenima or the crew of the movie Kesari or another movies made about the battle of Saraghari has disgraced those people that tried to fight for FREEDOM unlike the 36th Sikhs which died for the invader British empire not for freedom of their own people!!! Even if the 36th Sikhs had been succeeded in defending the FORT or the post they were defending and any of them had survived the battle, it can’t be called A TALE OF BRAVERY because it isn’t, the battle of Saragarahi is A TALE OF SHAME AND DIAGRACE and it is difintly A TALE OF SLAVERY!! I don’t know why and how Indians don’t see this??

The movie as I first watched the trailer I said I must watch this because I thought the 36th Sikhs died fighting AGAINST the British, but after finding they died fighting FOR the British, there is no point in watching this movie and seeing how good of slaves the 36th Sikhs were!!

This movie plays the Al Fatiha which is an invocation to guide men on to the right path during a beheading. This is obviously done intentionally to vilify Muslims. The truth is that the Afghan pashtuns were fighting to reclaim their village from their British occupiers and the Sikhs (who were loyal to the British and were the only ones who did not rebel against them in the 1857 uprising) tried to stop them from taking their own land back. 

Also, only a few thousand Afghans participated in the battle not Tena of thousands. They were picked off/shot at by the Sikhs regiment who were at an altiitude and inside the fort. The Mulla had called for Jehad against the British to free their land not for some perceived grudge against Akshay Kumar’s character. The Afghans dug the wall of the fort with their bare hands not using explosives. India. Filmmakers are intent on rewriting history and showing Muslims as aggressors. The reality is British were the aggressors and the Sikh regiment was used by the British to stem the Afghan tide. The Afghans even had their own Sarhad Gandhi who tried to fight the Brits by non violent means years later.
