Joker combines the elements of a psychological thriller, with one of the best supervillains ever. I can’t understand any criticism of this movie. With one of the best performances I’ve ever seen in a film (Joaquin Phoenix), fantastic writing, a beautiful score, and an overall atmosphere of insanity, this is a must watch in HD for anyone who can stomach it.
Now remember this is not a typical DC/Marvel superhero vs archvillain offering. I expected something different with Joaquin Phoenix cast as the Joker but I was NOT prepared to watch this and i was THRILLED to have been given the type of movie that I didn’t think anyone wanted to make anymore -ala Clockwork Orange and even more like Taxi Driver -with Gotham looking like a NYC of the 1970’s. This is NOT an ‘action’ film and you will not find full of action which normally find on superhero or online movie. The violence is meant to feel real -as in the way it would happen in front of you without any colossal stunts or extra gore. No slo-mo or panoramic shots but you have the free download option. No elaborately choreographed fights or gadgets like machine gun umbrellas or elaborate weapons.
It has only handful of deaths compared to the over the top body counts in a John Wick movies. Because of this, the deaths did make me jump in my seat. T here are usually clues the director gives you whether you are in the realm of fantasy or reality. Don’t expect it either. Delusions aren’t hazy or blurry here. They are just as real as the rest of the film which IS the method used to help you experience life in the mind of someone who has lost touch with reality yet who is desperately trying to find his place. The only deliberate device the director is using is the abrupt switch in the soundtrack from stereo surround sound to the sound coming out of the protagonist’s radio speakers as he seems lost in his own narcissistic revelry. There is no traditional rise and fall in this narrative. Just the sad decline of a damaged person who goes very dark as you would expect would become -THE JOKER. See this movie!

"Angel Has Fallen" is an all-out action film and it doesn't try to be anything else, I feel that's a part of its charm, everything nowadays is politicized even dramas, why can't we have an old fashion solo gun-wielding hero that always comes up on top, This film is reminiscing of that and that's exactly why it just works.All of that combined with a strong cast led by two great actors spells out good entertainment from the discovering the leads build-up to the flawless action sequences.A solid thriller packed with action, that pretty much sums up the whole thing.

Joker is a mix of drama, thriller, comedy, and madness, a masterpiece that lives on Todd Phillips' vision and Joaquin Phoenix's portrayal. An original film that fills today's cinema gap without steroids or fantasy and will forever mark the adaptations of comics. To see, chew, digest and review over and over again.
