My dog was right besides me when I was watching the horrifying trailer of this movie & he burst into tears with happiness. I asked him what are you so happy about & he said Thank God that they didn’t evolve into human beings.

Moderate spin-off you can just sit and laugh on its physical comedy and practical jokes. Chaleumpol & Watcharapong could never match Nang Nak / Pee Mak with below the surface plot and characters. Extra star for slight twist and a bit emotional moments in the end.

I really thought the lead character did an amazing job in this. It takes us on a journey of everything he is going through. The monster in this is so interesting too. I don’t want to spoil anything but there are some great scares and some really poignant moments with it!

The main problem is that the whole story is told from the male leads’ perspective, but 10 minutes before the ending the movie suddenly remembers that it was supposed to be a feminist story. I’m always up for a cheap shark movie but wow! This is the worst excuse for a movie ever…I’m in shock.It’s sort of unreal how they’ve patched together random images and locations and called it a film.

The reef:stalked is a thriller that had me beyond the edge of my seat -a gripping film that goes beyond the scare and suspense and thoughtfully examines grief and loss. Beautifully filmed and a great cast. Highly recommended.

Watched the first 10 minutes and this doesn’t even cut it for a B horror movie.
