the second film got a whole lot better and funnier. Despicable Me 2 is really one of the best animated films ever and the best sequel too with even more humor and more heart as well plus the animated in this is even more better and visually stunning too and you got to love the Minion they are even funnier in this one then the first. Overall I love the second film its funnier then the first and with even with more heart as well. Well done Universal Pictures you guys done it again by making a well crafted squeal with more laughs and more fun can wait to watch the third film. Well done again and good job guys.

This is one of those rare animated sequels that I actually enjoy more than the first. Despicable Me 2 (2013) improves upon its predecessor in nearly every way except for one problem that I had in the first movie. DM 2s final battle pits Gru against El Macho but ended up feeling too anticlimactic and predictable to be a very memorable one. The girls in this one were as good as they were the first time around and Steve Carell was great as Gru. Kristen Wigg?s performance as Lucy was well acted too. VERDICT: DM 2 is better the second time around except for an ending that still felt too predictable. Definitely get these two on Blu Ray for the kids.RATING: 8.5

Fuck this movie! Fuck the minions, fuck Illumination Entertainment and fuck everything that has to do with it! The first movie was never even that funny in the first place to begin with and the second one is even worse. This is one of the most racist and offensive films I have ever seen! The story is nonexistent, the animation is uninspired, the characters are irritating as hell and the villain is racist for hispanics. Whatever you do, do not ever see an Illumination film, you thought Sony Pictures Animation is a joke? Why don't you go suffer through a film that focuses on making money and minion toys?! Illumination, if you're reading this review, take my word to make a real good movie with less cartoonish animation, no minions involved in the Illumination logo and a deep, compelling story.
