Crown Vic (2019)

Two LAPD officers, a veteran and a hopeful rookie eager to outshine his father’s legacy, embark on an action-packed, night comprised of both violent and dramatic scenes patrolling the dark streets as well as tense discussions between the protagonists. A solid and talented cast with great cinematography. Entertaining and a worthwhile film.

Overall good movie. Opening scene was intense just get the movie by free download. Jane gives a great performance. Nice sense of dread building throughout the movie to a big collision at the end. Hadn’t heard of this one, but it really surprised me. Great cop film.

I thought this movie nailed the genre, while still doing it’s own thing which was very great to watch. The trailer makes it seem like Training Day, which there are elements of, but it really stands on its own and has its own style. It’s got a great pace to it. And the tension gets broken up by surprising dark laughs. There’s some stand out moments. It’s worth going on the ride. This is strong filmmaking.
