It was great to see Jesse Hutch back on Hallmark-and with Vanessa Lengies (loved her on NBC’s American Dreams series). They had a great chemistry together and the movie was very heartwarming and Christmas-y. Hallmark ended Christmas in July on a high note with this movie.

Intricate, this well-designed maze leaves you questioning the motives of both the film and your life – in the best way. The best psychological thriller of the year so far, Dana Abraham portrays a complicated yet identifiable character nested in an unpredictable story. Thrilling, haunting, and sprinkled with humour, a must see! Bravo!

This had a good amount of excitement, but it suffered from a slow start where the acting was difficult to appreciate. There were some strange choices in direction and editing. But it became more and more compelling despite of some plot holes.

Two small town couples find themselves caught up in a game of death at the hands of a vicious gang after they discover a mysterious box buried long ago.

I know that’s not necessarily saying a lot, but this one was so well done. Greta acting by Torrey DeVitto and Niall Matter and the supporting cast. A script by C. Jay Cox that was funny and clever. Wonderful understated directing that didn’t try to get in the way of the story. Will watch again.
