Uwe Boll shocked the world with the first Rampage; not because it was controversial but because it was halfway decent. In the sequel theres a few violent bmovie charms and I'd still say it's one of his best movies, but its crippling flaw is that it treats its psychopathic protagonist like some kind of God. What's really Scary is that it's pretty clear that Boll is living vicariously through his character; using it as his own platform to spew his insane political views.

Absolutely dreadful. Whereas the first film, as fucked up as it may be, at least had a direction and a purpose of some kind, this film has nothing. No discernible message or point to it. The main character just rants about everything for like an hour and then blows up a building. It's fucking stupid. And it's not even directed at the American government, or politicians, as the film's title and description would have you believe. At least that's a purpose. The character talks like a fucking madman (what argument is being made here), and even shoots a hostage at one point because she practices yoga. Everyone knows that Uwe Boll makes awful films, but this one takes the fucking cake. What a piece of shit.

Reverse psychology at its finest. Half truths mixed in with lies and deception. Ultimately the movie in and of itself is designed to promote the exact agendas the movie IMO fails to try to rally everyone against; tyranny, oppression, and control. In my opinion it does this in a few different ways; explicitly states we need more gun control and then magnifies the most horrific possibilities of someone who gets an arsenal of guns along with explosives and wreaks havoc. Then it further demonizes the Middle East by stating women in the Middle East have no rights which is 100% false. The other agenda it is "covertly" promoting is the acceleration of the implementation of Marshall Law which it fails to mention even once during its endless tirade of "kill all the wealthy." Since when was being wealthy in and of itself a crime? Anyhow I was excited to see the film but in the end it is just more propaganda.
