Blinded by the Light is the epitome of a feel good movie to watch. Normally I don’t like that term, to me it means a film is simply existing to please an audience. Hopefully a good movie can both entertain and inform. But Blinded by the Light is surely a film that makes you feel good and that is why i watched the movie online. It might not be breaking any new ground cinematic-ally but it definitely is good for the heart in an intelligent and full pleasing way.
Set in late eighties Britain it concerns itself with Javed, a teenager of Pakistani descent in the depressed town of Luton. His family is very strict and believe in studying hard to get a good job. But Javed is a dreamer who wants to be a writer and escape Luton. He is caught between two worlds, the very Englishmen of Luton who reject his race and his family who have their plans for him. When he meets a classmate his world changes because now he can free download any movie from Filmxy. He is introduced by him to the music of Bruce Springsteen and his life changes. Bruce speaks to him directly in his songs of struggle and discovery. Soon he is obsessed, he feels free at last. Ready to take on the world. This is a film about following your dreams, about being yourself and not holding back. Why can’t a Pakistani kid in Luton be a Bruce fan? As unlikely as this sounds it is actually based on a true story. And it works mostly. At times it dips into cliche and there is an overflow of sentimentality. But if a film can have a spirit then this certainly does. It has a huge heart and is filled with great joy. And if a film is laced through out by the music of Springsteen then surely that has to be a good thing.

"Angel Has Fallen" is an all-out action film and it doesn't try to be anything else, I feel that's a part of its charm, everything nowadays is politicized even dramas, why can't we have an old fashion solo gun-wielding hero that always comes up on top, This film is reminiscing of that and that's exactly why it just works.All of that combined with a strong cast led by two great actors spells out good entertainment from the discovering the leads build-up to the flawless action sequences.A solid thriller packed with action, that pretty much sums up the whole thing.

Joker is a mix of drama, thriller, comedy, and madness, a masterpiece that lives on Todd Phillips' vision and Joaquin Phoenix's portrayal. An original film that fills today's cinema gap without steroids or fantasy and will forever mark the adaptations of comics. To see, chew, digest and review over and over again.
