This is one of the best Australian films for years. Has the same kind of feel as Jindabyne. Taut acting and directing. Bang on visceral performances. Bryan Brown is at his best. Support cast are superb and believable. This film deals with the current racist conservative xenophobic backlash going on in this country. It?s like a new Romper Stomper for the 2000?s. It will be too close to the bone for a lot of One Nation supporters. Thank Vishnu Bryan Brown didn?t stay in Hollywood after Cocktail and continues to make such high quality films, instead of crap like Thor and The Avengers. 10/10 Bryan....keep it up mate! 53% rating? What rubbish!

It was a short film but what a classic. The 1967 film of how the Grinch stole Christmas is such a classic with the animation so fresh and good and of course the song oh the song is catchy and well crafted that a sing a long with it thats how good this film is. Overall the 1967 film is well crafted and so well done even though the live action film is good too but the the animated film is far more better and well crafted. Well done WB you bought a child's book come to life in this awesome animated holiday classic film and I like so much. awesome job and well done.

Of all of Dr. Seuss' stories, this is the most direct and faithful conversion from book to movie. It is a thoroughly enjoyable heartwarming Christmas classic. Chuck Jones' animation is not quite as playful or imaginative as the Dr. Seuss illustrations, but they are very much in the same spirit. The animation adds a little more detail and structure, which are necessary for this medium. It still maintains the right softness and feel. The music is a perfect addition and a skillful way to extend the length without forcing new elements into it. In terms of the story, it is a tried and true classic appealing to viewers of all ages. It is brief at only 26 minutes, but it accomplishes everything it needs to and is every bit as enjoyable as any full-length feature. It captures the good-willed spirit of Christmas and has a timeless appeal.
