I loved the first one but wasn't too sure about this one. It was worth watching if you enjoyed the first. Trejo is like a modern day Dirty Harry or Charles Bronson but without the gun and its good to see Glover again. I wish the laws didn't protect criminals and we could all stand up for what is right.

As if the first one weren't silly and implausible enough, this one notches that up while essentially repeating the same story. If there were any attention to detail before, it's entirely gone now -- the plot holes are very distracting. Watching this sort of shitty sequel actually makes me like the original even less.

Generic action film with a very uneven mix of comedy and brutal violence that is disconcerting. The original was a lot more fun before they started to go Death Wish level serious. Danny Trejo and Danny Glover have their moments with the comedy but ultimately this is an action-comedy mix that doesn't work.
