And people wonder why most professional critics have little respect for Rotten Tomatoes. A Brony Tale is an asinine, egotistical, obnoxious mess of a film starring a voice actress who ironically can't actually act and an assortment of men who look like top notch contender's for this year's Darwin Awards. But of course don't take my word for it, watch it yourself and from your own opinion. I'm sure most if not everyone who sees this will think I'm some ignorant guy who hates bronies, but really that's not the case. I just see the subculture for what it is; the consequences of living in a first world country.

A fun and entertaining film that shows great respect for a group of people that are mainly mocked in society. Fitting the feel good tone of its subject material, director Brent Hodge allows A Brony Tale to investigate the phenomenon of Bronies in a way that pays homage to them, rather than poking fun. You really see why these people care so much about My Little Pony, even if you don't totally understand. You still appreciate and care about why they care. It matters to them, and so for about 90 minutes it matters to you. The film, just like its subjects, has a good heart, and it makes you feel good to watch it.

As a brony, documentaries like this paint a very bad picture for the majority of us. They show the people who are fat neckbeards. They show the people who are obsessed to the point where their entire life is based around this show. They dont show the people who just enjoy watching the show and that is the end of it. A good amount of us just carry on with normal lives once the episode is over. We are average weight, average people who like a TV show. So when/if you watch this movie, please dont judge the entire group of people based on the minority.
