In the future, the mutants and the humans who help them are slaughtered by powerful robots named Sentinels. Professor Xavier, Wolverine, Magneto, Storm, Kitty Pryde, and her friends meet at a monastery in China and Xavier explains that the invincible Sentinels were created using the DNA of Mystique that was captured in 1973 when she tried to assassinate their creator Dr. Bolivar Trask. Xavier tells that their only chance is return to 1973 using Pryde’s ability to join Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr to convince Mystique to give up her intention. However, only Wolverine can withstand the damages of the time travel. Will he succeed in stopping Mystique and the Sentinel Program, and save the mutants and their human friends from annihilation?

The movies way of handling time travel is the main weird part about this X-Men iteration. But that doesn't change the fact that this is one of the best movies of the series. All characters act at their absolute best, it's also refreshing to see a more mature Wolverine teaching young Charles and Eric one or two lessons. The story goes it's usual ways focussing on topics like racism, fear of being different and revenge for said racism. But the famous Quicksilver scene isn't the only exciting thing about the plot. Three words: multi level finale. Always a great thing (see: Inception).

X-Men: Days of Future Past is a great way of re-writing X-Men's history, it was done excellently. The conflict the characters have to deal with are amazing, as usual with Bryan Singer's direction. It was great seeing the new and old cast together. Logan (Hugh Jackman) steals every scene he's in, he's just such a memorable character. I love how the movie also hints back to X-Men: First Class and the original X-Men trilogy. Overall X-Men: Days of Future Past is, I think, the best movie in the entire X-Men franchise (for now).

Great X-men Movie. By far it's the best Xmen movie to date and it's also one of my favourite superhero movies!. This movie was never boring from start to finish and the story was very interesting and the characters were fleshed out nicely and you can actually care about them and understand their motivations as well. Quicksilver was awesome in the movie! That quicksilver scene is one of the the most coolest scenes that I have ever seen in a comic book movie. Therefore, X-men: Days of Future Past gets an A+
