oh my God this movie fucked me up it's so good honestly my favorite anime movie and I need to buy it. I even almost cried just because it was over now my chest hurts because I'm so sad that it ended and I didn't want it to end and I am tearing up right now because I do not want it to be over and I want to watch more. I recommend that even if you do not watch anime you go watch this movie because it will honestly make your day the only downside is that the movie ended in the Cliffhanger and you will be hung up on this movie for a while.
Not just a beautfully animated movie but a fantastic movie overall. Both emotionally real and covering flights of fantasy, it's always engaging. Starts of with a trope of body-switching and then keeps growing in scope while maintianing focus on the characters. This almost got me crying. Such a delicate story. Oh and the music! DAMN good! The music and some shots will stay with you long afterwards. Experiencing the movie through subtitles lessens it a bit - but still, the voice acting is great so happpy with it rather than english dub. Must Must must watch for lovers of movies, anime, rom-coms, fantasy, and just good movies.
Seria mentira si dijese que Your Name no me ha sorprendido, tanto a un nivel visual como de su argumento, aunque no sabría si decir que es la gran nueva película anime desde que Ghibli paró de producir. Sin duda lo que Makoto Shimkai ha conseguido con los años es sorprendente y el éxito de Your Name es más que merecido par aun artista de su talla y si sigue entregando obras tan trabajadas y mimadas como esta le espera un gran futuro. Esperemos que esté a la altura.De momento puedo decir que aunque Your Name no me impactó tanto como creía (y ojo, que su melodrama es capaz de sacarte alguna lagrimilla), es una obra muy a tener en cuenta, y si eres fan de la animación deberías ver si o si.
