another tried and tested plot being reused where a serial killer falls in love and is in a dilemna to decide whether to go for his love and change himself or to stick to his past and the people who gave him eveything....plenty of cheezy lines and the story too was going fine untill Disha(parineeti) realised Dev(ranveer) lied many things to her and then the movie just kept going downhill....ranveer and pari did their best but somehow govinda lacked the x factor for such a powerful grey character and ali zafar as tutu looked out of sorts somehow...a time killer at most :/
The music score for this film is the only thing it has going for it. One should not have pay to watch this in a cinema. The cast members, do a stellar performance in their allotted roles, however the arid script and typical bollywood approach of song and dance to ease the tension leaves one with dissatisfied feeling and yearning for more. More meat in the story line, more meat in the characters, just a need for more....Even if this was a Cinderella approach to a hit-man falling in love, it was missing the hard edge, that gripping persona, and the overall enthrallment to present to the audiences an experience that would leave them walking away with a WOW feeling..The best Kill Dil does is leave one with the words ROFL but not for the right reasons.
