Fun afternoon action flick!So I read all the critics reviews of this film and several of the Flixster User reviews, yet somehow something persuaded me to give this movie a shot. And I must say, it wasn't all that bad. Hayden Christensen is the only good actor in the film, and he is actually good in it. There are some great sword fighting scenes and the story is simple but still adequate to keep your attention for the brief 98 minutes or so of the film. Nicholas Cage was totally miscasted in this film because he simply did not fit the role. But he performance doesn't outright ruin the movie. If you're longing for a fun action flick to kill the time on a lazy afternoon, then check this out.

No one even critiqued this film. Well it is expected to be a piece of sh*t. Though I love to watch Cage and surprisingly together with Anakin Skywalker (I'm used to call him that rather his real name. ) in this medieval films like this. To sum all up. This is like C-grade hack n slash medieval times with some Chinese kingdom war type of sh*t and some middle eastern setting, it is that bad. As how ugly it was, with shitty acting, the sword fights are pretty legit and brutal at least in some way. The story was so silly. This flick is good on midnight's. Expect this one to be aired on Cinemax though. Good watch when your drunk. 2.5 stars out of 5.

This is a rather classic tale, it resembles the plot of many westerns:.. the master warrior who tries to escape his previous cruel life, drinks to forget, he hits rock bottom... until someday unexpectedly he finds a noble cause to serve and redeem himself... the star in this is Hayden Christensen (not Cage), who does a good job overall.... Cage has a minor role, not as significant as you might think at first....the movie was filmed in China and you get a few nice landscape along the way.....there are some really dramatic scenes in the film, in my opinion are well filmed and effective...watch it if you have the chance..
