Had I not known that this was a Renny Harlin film I would have bet money that this was Uwe Boll's handywork, albeit with a higher budget than normal. One of the most expensive cheap looking films I think I've ever seen. There's some fun but stylistically dated action towards the end but it's not worth sitting through the drab and lifeless dreck that precedes it.

Effects not perfect but still a lot of effort was put into the film. I don't want to bash the little guys. This was somewhat watchable and some of the action was impressive gymnastically. Looks like a kid film or cable TV film for educating us. In any case the half-god Hercules is not your sissy half-god Jesus. Jesus made god more sissy and less killy I suppose, but now man does more killing than Him. Fun to watch with low expectations.

Such a waste of time!, The Legend Of Hercules is a poorly made, unoriginal, horribly acted film. Instead of making a unique Hercules story (like other one that was made the same year), they decided to just rip off great films like Gladiator and 300 and slap the name "Hercules on the cover. The costumes look at times cheap and funny enough clean for the situations they go through, and the CGI is very poor.
