Following the death of her parents, teen-aged Andie West is living with her mother's best friend, Sarah. Andie, who doesn't care about school, is trying to figure out where she fits in in life. The only thing she loves is dancing with her street crew, the 410, led by Tuck. The 410 are the most notorious of the street crews in Baltimore and are wanted by the police for their acts of vandalism and public mischief. Sarah threatens to send Andie to live with relatives in Texas unless she cleans up her act, which includes ending her association with the 410 and trying harder at school. Andie's neighborhood friend, Tyler Gage, convinces Andie to audition for entry into the Maryland School of the Arts (MSA), an institution which ended up turning his life around for the better. Andie passes the audition but isn't sure she fits in there. The school's director, Blake Collins, isn't sure she fits in there either. Blake is a brilliant dancer but looks for conformity to his way.

Friday the 13th Part 3 is a unpretentious film that is a giant cliche for slaughter to begin. It rehashes many moments from the first film, all of which are inferior. It has no impressive practical effects and they even copy the legendary Kevin Bacon death from the first film. The acting and direction is terrible too, all save for Richard Brooker as Jason. The continuity is also bad as well, Jason changes builds and doesn't retain any of his injuries from Part 2. Beside that, the film is not scary in the slightest with cliches, terrible acting, poor direction from Steve Miner, and the cheesy 3D gimmick that I'm glad was improved upon in 2018.

File under so bad it's good. This film is pretty hilarious. Throwing all logic out of the window and offering up a completely incomprehensible mess of unintentional horror comedy.I believe this was a 3D movie so it is filled with moments where they linger on shots where things were supposed to pop out of the screen. No explanation is given for Jason's new look or super human strength(he is a much bigger man!) but it follows on directly after the 2nd film, apparently. This is the first film to introduce the hockey mask, again no explanation given! This film is something to put on and laugh at...the kills are so over the top and badly filmed that you can't do much else...coupled with the hammy action and constant nudity it is full of late night stupidity that is oddly fun to watch!

Known almost exclusively as the one where Jason gets his iconic mask, Friday the 13th Part 3 fails to deliver even a modicum of horror. Set about a day after Part 2 ended, this one takes place in a cabin in the woods where the main character has this fear that she is trying to overcome due to a traumatic experience she had some years prior when she had a run-in with Jason. Jason then picks them off one by one until the main character is all that's left. There really isn't much to say about this installment as it's rather bland overall. None of the kills are particularly memorable and the only real difference between this one and the other two is that this one was shot in 3D.
