This movie felt like a fresh new spin on a topic that is not executed to the highest extent in most cases. The camera angles and filmography were excellent, and the acting was excellent the whole way through. In the beginning, it felt a little bit like satire but it got serious pretty quick. The green/blue screen effects fell a little short sometimes, but these shortcomings did not distract from the overall plot of the movie. The change in tone three quarters in the way in felt a little rushed in my opinion and it could've been fixed if the director would've let the movie run just a tad bit longer.My final verdict is; that the movie plot and camera work was excellent and original, it felt a little cliche at times but it made up for it with some great scenes.

A found-footage film yet not a part of the horror genre, Chronicle separates itself with amazing camera techniques and a compelling story throughout. Centered around three high school boys who gain telekinesis abilities, this film turns into a villain origin story as we see these characters grow darker and progress from kids having fun to dangerous individuals who are not bound by science and don't answer to anyone. The fact that the film doesn't have a soundtrack and contrasts so much from beginning compared to end, plus seeing Michael B. Jordan shine in one of his first major roles makes Chronicle so interesting to watch.

For a movie that Carries a camera around the whole time this movie is astounding. I really did love this movie. 3 kids go to a party, find some giant crystal that gives them god like powers. They play with them like a toy instead of playing it safe, and things go wrong. Great film. I never bothered to even think about watching this film when I saw the previews. then my friends turned it on, and I got hooked on it. The story is so well thought out. If a few teenagers got super powers, it would be like how the movie shows it. I'm 15 my self and I'd fool around with powers, and make mistakes. so this movie is realistic on what would go down if it happened. A should see film.
