Some good suspense by the director and solid acting along with a tight script gives way to a film that is set for more sequels in the future based on the ending. So just got done watching this new indie horror and i have to say i was very impressed with the film. It starts with a dope intro and really cool artwork that blends into a creepy doll ANNA-BELLUM who i think is scarier than the doll in the Annabelle series. That being said this i feel is more of an introduction to the doll and sets up nicely what will come for later films, although the pace of the film was good and the tension was there and i appreciated the leg smashing scene as it was not gore but more what you do not see but done very well at the same time. So being a fan of scary doll movies and puppets this passes the test as it introduces a new scary doll called ANNA-BELLUM and the backstory explains well that we are now looking forward tom the franchise taking off and bringing new scares.
