When I saw Scorsese’s “Last Waltz,” I thought that I would never again see a concert film as true. And I haven’t, until now.The Band were the last popular musicians to tell stories, have nearly all those stories be in the third person and tell them without irony. To do this is impossible today, or at least non- commercial. Scorsese is a flawed filmmaker, his flaw being that he is overly invested in character-driven storytelling. The two: Band and Marty, were a perfect mix: cinematic rock. Pure, without that nightmare stew of MTV videos.Now along comes Winterbottom. Nearly all viewers will be unable to accept a movie with sex in it as anything but a movie about sex. Shame on them. Confront it folks. That’s his point: why is it so difficult to accept the difference?But the hangups of the viewing public are less interesting to me than the way he constructed this experiment. It is a rock concert (with a Nyman interlude). Nine songs, with us participating in the songs themselves, participating in the going to the concerts to listen to the songs, and participating in the experience that the songs are about: namely obsessive sex. And also, remembering (or even inventing the memory of) the sex, drugs and rock and roll we’ve seen. This latter is done by our hero in Antarctica. He serves as narrator, by the way.Thankfully, this intense sex avoids the theatrics of “Damage,” and works to be as genuine as possible emotionally. Is it a good movie? Could it change your life? Will it change cinema forever?Probably yes.Ted’s Evaluation — 3 of 3: Worth watching.

So seen this movie available to download, and it had a 4 star rating. Thought to myself zombie movie with my partner should be good simple format we could both enjoy, and by god I was wrong. Pathetic acting story didn't make much sense effects looked like ps2 graphics and that's an insult to the ps2. The zombies weren't scary in fact I wouldn't even classify them as zombies they look like crazy people just running around with weapons trying to kill for no good reason. This type of thing might have worked with 28 days later but at least that was presented well and we understood it. The movie seemed rushed and in all honesty I turned it off. Roll on New walking dead series.

Shot in "First Person Shooter" style with "B" movie acting, extras and blood stains that always stay bright red. I found the shooting style irritating and a little hard to follow. On Sky HD, although broadcast in Dolby 5.1 48khz, there was little surround/subwoofer content in fact I had to do a level check on my Amplifier to make sure it was still working. They missed a trick here; whilst in first person, the atmospherics should have been played through the surround channels. It would have really added to the film.As far as the plot is concerned, I'm not surprised the zombies are winning. The uninfected are so dumb they deserve to be turned. I found myself rooting for the infected to end the onslaught of mediocrity.Yawn!

Literally the worst movie i have ever seen in my life, i would rather stab my penis with a sharp bottle than watch this again. People not following basic rules, people going places on their own, unrealistic weapon scenarios that barely have any value because the angle is so frustratingly narrow because its supposed to be 1st person but because its shoulder mounted the motion stabilisation is so god damn terrible and every scene is jumpy, frustrating and a mega headache giver.Literally my only wish until i die from now on will be to let the directors and writers know just how terrible this movie was, they should literally quit right now we have enough new film writers and directors, make children books/movies instead, i'm sure that target audience is more your mental age.
